Blaze Evercade VS Secrets & Easter Eggs

When it comes to the Evercade VS (and in some cases the Evercade handheld), there are some secrets and Easter eggs, that can be found in different places and ways. Some of these requires the player to press specific button combinations, while other secrets uses the menu option "Secret", that lets the user input codes manually. Besides that, there is also a fun little Easter egg hidden in plain sight, for people who have the urge to open the unit up, and take a look at the hardware itself.

"Fairy Fire - Defender of the Fairies" is unlocked by pressing the MENU button 10 times.


"Gotris" is unlocked with the combination L2 + R2 + SELECT.


"Hummingz" is unlocked with the combination L2, L2, R2, R2, L1, L1, R1, R1.


"NNNNNN" is unlocked with the combination L1 + R1 + UP.


"Spacey McRacey" is unlocked with the combination L1 + R1 + DOWN.

"Arkade Rush" is unlocked by inserting both Gaelco Arcade 1 and Indie Heroes Collection 1.


"Dark Chambers" is unlocked by inserting both Atari Collection 1 and Atari Collection 2.


"Raid on Tricity: Second Wave" is unlocked by inserting both Atari Lynx Collection 1 and Atari Lynx Collection 2.


"Pyramids of Ra" is unlocked by inserting both Piko Interactive Collection 1 and Piko Interactive Collection 2.


"Twin Brats" is unlocked by inserting both Piko Interactive Collection 1 and Gaelco Arcade 1.

"Kubo 1 & 2" is unlocked with the code "seijiwashere".


If you input the code "circuit", it results in a still image for a couple of seconds.


If you input the code "deadlock", it results in a still image for a couple of seconds.

The Evercade VS is rather easy to open. If you choose to take it apart, take a look on the backside of the motherboard. Here you vil find a little pixelguy with the text "A winner is you".




>>>Others

When selecting the Credits in the menu, you can hold DOWN to scroll fast through the credits. When the screen turns black, hold the DOWN button, and you will come across 6 messages, where the last one includes a link as a reward!
