Play video games, no matter where you are - The ultimate freedom!
I really like the whole concept of handheld gaming, and the freedom this option provides. I have tried, several times, with a lot of different handheld systems, to embrace the - in theory - perfect opportunity to play video games on the go, but after completing a few games, I always end up with the same conclusion. The handheld console don't feel comfortable enough in my hands, to play for longer sessions. This is by the way the best case scenario. Most of the time, it is uncomfortable to control the console, even before the game has been launched from the dashboard. This problem has, in my case, most of the time something to do with the way I need to hold the bottom part of the console with my pinkies, and the weird way I have to twist my thumbs to control the analog sticks. Because of this ergonomic mismatch, I always end up discarding the idea of handheld gaming after a very short time.
I do like the Nintendo Switch a lot, but because of my former mentioned issues with handheld gaming, 99.9% of my gaming time on this system, was in docked mode on a TV. I recently made a deal, where I got a Nintendo Switch Lite, and thought that I might well dedicate some time, trying to see if this system could be my way into handheld gaming. Unfortunately, the result was the same as with all the other systems I have tried. Then I did some research, since I assumed that I would not be the only gamer with this problem. Sure enough, after a quick Google-search, it turned out that there were a lot of grip-addons for the Switch Lite. Which then led me to my next concern, which is the protection of the hardware.
It has always been very important for me, to take good care of my gaming consoles, keeping them clean and in tip-top condition. This applies both when I, for instance, transport home consoles to a friend's place, but especially when I bring handheld consoles with me. There are often dedicated protective cases for handhelds, which are great for that purpose, but since I would need a grip on the unit, it would no longer fit in the case. That would mean, that I would have to bring the grip-attachment alongside the handheld unit stored in the case, which would again counter the whole portable easy-on-the-go experience.
This is until now! When looking into what grip-options that exist for the Switch Lite, I randomly happen to come across the "ZenGrip Go Slim Bundle" by Satisfye. This solution combined the grip and protection in one package. A grip that would help improve the ergonomic, and a protective case that would fit the Switch Lite with the grip attached. Brilliant!
I was a bit lucky - or rather exposed to advertisements that were generated from my Google searches, and suddenly there was an advertising from a second hand game shop, selling this bundle for a very low price. I bought it, and wow. This bundle has changed my opinion on handheld gaming, which is why I just had to write this review, and share my experience!

First, let's talk about the grip itself. The build quality is top-notch. The way the Switch Lite is hold in place is perfect. There are small red "rubber feet" securing the console in place, in a way that the console is secure, don't get scratched and has no wobble. It is still possible to disconnect the grip with the right amount of force. Perfect fit!
The left and right grip are not aligned, but instead placed in a way that they individually offer the best possible angle to control the analog sticks. Impressive!
On the bottom of the grip, there are feet, that make it possible to use the Switch Lite in tabletop mode with an external controller. When using this option, the Switch Lite stands secure with a comfortable viewing angle. This grip is in my opinion a serious game changer!

Next up is the protective case. This case offers a perfect fit for the console + grip attachment. Perfect fit and no wobble at all! It is a hard case, that feels premium, with great details. The internal part of the case is form fitted and covered in a soft cloth material. It feels great, and offers good protection against scratches. When placing the console in the case, there is a screen protector, that covers the screen. On the back of this protection flap, there are small pockets for up to 8 cartridges.
The outside of the case feels sturdy and is easy to clean. The ziplock and handle does also appear well crafted. All in all, a great protective case!
Individually, I would have no interest in either of the products, but as a bundle, this is where it shines! This product combo has changed my opinion on handheld gaming for years to come. Good job Satisfye!
